You know you're with Nanny when....

...by 8:30 you've already eaten in bed while watching TV,

 gotten your nails done while enjoying a sucker.

One memory of my Nanny as a little girl is painting my finger nails.  I would always come home from her house with a manicure and another bottle of topcoat (Sally Hensen of course!).  Now she is transferring this to my little girl too!

Walking Without a Helmet...

...it's a challenge at the Breedlove house, especially when you add pavement.  Even more complicated is when your brother's are supposed to be "watching" you as mom finishes the kitchen, and you decide to fall flat on your face as they keep digging in the dirt completely unaware at the top of the driveway.... while you sob loudly enough for mom to hear inside.  Evidently a helmet might have been helpful in this situation.  Note to self.

Spring Break

This was a week of activities for the Breedlove family!  My husband chaperoned a trip to Greece and Italy for his students, Steven Edward had 2 birthday parties (he turned 6), we had several egg hunts, visited both Grandparents houses, went to a zoo with friends, a science center, visited a farm of a good friend, saw some friends from college, got a stomach bug accompanied by a fever... that is quite enough listing.  But BOY were we busy!
